PSL 11 Franchises Update – Six Venue is Expected in PSL 11 Edition

Rumors have started circulating that PSL Season 11 might be delayed or even canceled, primarily due to the legal dispute brewing between Ali Tareen and the PCB. The PSL management has reportedly prepared a “backup plan” in case Multan Sultans’ ownership is terminated.

However, Ali Tareen has strongly opposed this move, claiming he has already invested around 7 billion rupees and received only 1.5 billion in return. He has sent a legal notice to PSL and stated publicly that he will take the matter to court.

PSL Draft or Auction

Discussions are ongoing within PSL management about possibly switching from the current draft system to an IPL-style auction. However, most insiders believe the draft system will continue for PSL Season 11, mainly because:

PSL franchises aren’t yet financially positioned to bid like IPL teams.

For PSL Season 11, a major positive development is that the number of venues has been expanded from 4 to 6, with the goal of spreading matches across more cities and fan bases.
