Finally, good news regarding retained players has also come from Lahore Qalandars, which PSL fans had been waiting for eagerly. Looking at the situation, Lahore Qalandars faced the toughest competition and the most difficult decisions among all teams.
In the Platinum category, they had three star players available: Shaheen Shah Afridi, Fakhar Zaman, and Haris Rauf. In the Diamond category, there was strong competition between Abdullah Shafique and Salman Mirza. Similarly, in the Gold category, players like Asif Ali, Sam Billings, and Asif Afridi were in contention, all of whom delivered strong performances last season.
