PCB Receive 14 Bids So Far for Two New Teams in PSL

The 14 major companies have shown interest in purchasing the two new franchises that will join the Pakistan Super League 11.

Yes, the PCB introduced an auction system for the new teams, under which interested companies were allowed to submit their documents and bids by 24 December 2025. The deadline is very close, and so far, 14 large companies have expressed interest in buying the remaining two PSL teams. These include US based investors, telecom companies, real estate groups, solar technology firms, Interloop, the Agha Khan Group, and some UK based companies. The next step will be that the PCB will analyze these bids and announce the details of the eligible candidate companies by 27 December 2025. The shortlisted companies will then take part in the auction on 8 January 2026, after which the bidding process will begin. The companies that place the highest bids will win the two new Pakistan Super League teams.

According to the PCB, the possible cities for the two new PSL teams include Hyderabad, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, Gilgit, and Rawalpindi. Now it remains to be seen which companies are finalized by 27 December, and further details will be shared after the official PCB announcement.
