Mohsin Naqvi reveals his ambitions with the PSL – Unique Way to Fill Cricket Stadiums
In a press conference, Mohsin Naqvi said that they are aiming to make PSL the No.1 league in the world. He said this is their vision, and the same vision is shared by Ramiz Raja, Wasim Akram, and millions of Pakistanis. He added that he does not consider this a difficult task and he is confident that one day they will make PSL the number one league.
After the 2015-2025 agreement, owners have exercised five to six extension options and have extended the Pakistan Super League for another ten years. This means these five to six franchises have finalized another ten year contract for PSL. PCB is also working on two additional teams which will be finalized next month and then shared.
Weekly Musical Concerts in Cricket Stadiums
In another statement, Mohsin Naqvi said that he wants to see full crowds because that is the real atmosphere of cricket grounds. He also announced that concerts will be held weekly in all stadiums. These concerts will begin with the start of PSL 2026 to help promote the league.
Every weekend, musical concerts will take place in the stadiums which will create an environment of entertainment and bring more interest towards sports. This will keep fans engaged and allow them to enjoy even more.
