Sialkot Stallionz PSL 2026 Direct Signing & Four Retentions
Squad announcements for PSL 2026 are underway, and once again, Sialkot Stallions have made a strong move.
For Pakistan Super League 2026, Sialkot have selected Mohammad Nawaz, Salman Mirza, Ahmad Daniyal, and Saad Masood as part of their signed players.
Sialkot Stallionz Retentions
Mohammad Nawaz, who was previously part of Islamabad United, was not retained this year due to limited retention slots. Taking advantage of the situation, Sialkot Stallions signed Mohammad Nawaz along with Lahore Qalandars’ left-arm pacer Salman Mirza.

So far, Sialkot Stallions have announced the names of five players. Four of them are listed above, while the fifth is Australian batter Steve Smith, who is currently being referred to as the most expensive player in Pakistan Super League history.
Stallions already select Austalian Top order batter, Steve Smith, through direct pick, now these four retentions make Sialkot Stallionz squad much batter.
According to sources, the captaincy of Sialkot Stallions is expected to be handed over to either Steve Smith or Mohammad Nawaz. However, no final confirmation has been announced yet. A clearer picture of all team squads will emerge after the HBL PSL first player auction on 11 February, once all franchises complete their squads.
It is hoped that Sialkot Stallions will continue to use their resources wisely, build a strong squad, and deliver a strong performance in their debut PSL season.
