The auction for the Multan Sultans team will take place on 9 February, with Lahore set as the venue. This announcement by the PCB is being seen as a positive step, as the PSL player auction is already scheduled for 11 February. New teams naturally need some time for planning and squad preparation, so the auction on 9 February will be a favorable date for the new owners of Multan Sultans.

MS Franchise Base Value

According to a report, just as Hyderabad was sold at an annual fee of PKR 175 crore and Sialkot Stallions at PKR 185 crore, the base price of Multan Sultans is expected to be around PKR 180 crore, or possibly even higher.

This is because Multan Sultans already enjoy strong popularity across South Punjab and are considered a stable and well-established franchise, unlike the newly introduced teams.
